Location – Incat Crowther offices are located in attractive regional areas. What we look for

Being an industry leader, it is important we find the right people to fit our company. We look for candidates with a sound scientific knowledge and good understanding of the engineering principles of naval architecture. You will accept responsibility for defining and solving complex engineering problems and have well developed communication skills and the capacity to work effectively singularly or in a group.

  • The appropriate degree or training.
  • Good attitude and work ethic.
  • A high level of proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, and the Office Suite of programs.
  • Proficiency in MaxSurf, Ship constructor, FEA software and other marine related packages as necessary.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Australian, US, or UK permanent residency or citizenship.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A positive and professional manner.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • A high degree of initiative and be self-motivated.

Experience on the shop floor is also considered an advantage.

Incat Crowther also has an Intern Program that focuses on providing relevant students with shop floor experience and hours to go towards their qualification requirements.

We have two intakes – mid year and year end.
